Kabhi Alvida Na kehna , means,Can there be a bigger suck?

Haven't seen such crowd here in Calgary before, all sorts of washed masses were there, the 'over the hill women' to relive the shah rukh magic, the teenage gilrs in their tight jeans and muffled giggles clutching their little handbags to watch abhishek bacchan and teen aged guys with bleached hair hanging out ogling at these girls. Couples with little children, in fact the aisles were filled with strollers, a major fire hazard as it was blocking the hallway. Crying babies, Roop became so irritated that she asked a mother "why do you bring small babies to movies" all she got is a very mad stare in return.

Well i went in for preity zinta, and her bubbly charm, all i got is a bitch fest. She didn't perform, heck no one performed. All she did was manage a painful smile, her dimples didn't get challenged at all.
Rani lived her role, a cold ice block. well a wooden block would have done the role, there were some sparks in the second half but Karan johar killed them.

Shahrukh khan should call it a day. His character was the most ill defined and badly executed one, he came out as old grumpy old man, which he is. For a few mns when rani and him are in love, which is supposedly his forte, he struggled, felt he was ravi shastri batting when is out of form; Couldn't wait to seem his wickets blown off.

If there is any saving grace, it was the Bachchans, abhishek was much better, I have to grudgingly agree, you end up feeling sorry for him. Both for his part in themovie and ending up in this shit fest. His dad is busy pimpin' in his snoopy dogg getup minus the walking stick. Amithabh did well, but his role would have used more sketching and more meat.

The movie could have been mucho better, Roop and I were discussing and she was telling me that there was so much potential to this movie, if she were the director, she would have worked with other powerful emotions at play there, so true. Karan johar killed it by making it so cheesy it puts a pizza hut to shame.

The movie felt so tedious that It put me to sleep without even realising it. Roop kept figeting in her seat, she is the attentive one, ssshing me everytime. There were not even few sparks of brilliance, no chemistry between actors, everyone is busy being the biggest suck! The screenplay was bad. locations didn't make any sense, why New york, why not nellore? if everything happens in a house?

The story is supposedly about marriages without love, sharukh says at the end of the movie, where he says, marriage is search for love and asks us to keep on searching for it even after marrying (no it didnt make sense to me either); and the concession is that, he hopes/prays that this search path wouldn't be paved with broken hearts. No shit Einstien!

No don't go, give your money to charity, buy an ice cream to the little girl living next door, but a ball to your galli cricket team, EVEN buy yourself a reshimiya's CD, dont goto this movie. This movie sucks more than a black hole.

Aren't there any guy guys in India who would lay him? If not, i could hook him with a few over here. Again, Please if you have loved/love anyone don't goto this movie.
